Arbel Communications is owned by Ronit Arbel, who actively manages the company on a day-to-day basis. Over the past 33 years Arbel Communications has managed in excess of 2,500 projects, including local and international government events, shows by local and international artists and musicians, events for cultural institutions and private corporations, musicals, mega-productions, exhibitions, outdoor festivals, international conventions, tourism events and major sporting events. For the past few years the company's major focus and expertise has been the strategic management of top artists in the Israeli music industry, as well as bringing top international artists and groups to Israel. Ronit Arbel was born in Tel-Aviv in 1958. In 1963 her parents moved to the city of Eilat where Ronit graduated from high school. During her military service she served in the military’s budgetary office and assisted the financial advisor to the Chief of Staff, rising to the rank of First Lieutenant. Ronit's first job back in civilian life was as spokesperson for the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva. She also served as the spokesperson for the southern district of the Clalit Health Fund. She held these positions while studying at Ben Gurion University in Beersheva, In 1981 Ronit returned to Tel Aviv and worked as an account executive in one of the city’s public relations firms. In 1982 Arbel partnered with singer-songwriter Zvika Pik to form a public relations company, and later that year she ended that partnership in order to form an association with producer Miki Feld. In 1983 Arbel made the decision to establish an independent public relations company and founded "Arbel Communications", which has grown into the leading PR company in Israel spanning the fields of music, entertainment and leisure-time culture.
